MK II 686cc SOHC engine

Yamaha's biggest leisure ATV is driven by a high-performance, large capacity engine that delivers class-leading torque and power. The 2nd generation MK II 686cc 4-valve SOHC engine is equipped with the latest EFI throttle body as well as fine-tuned ECU mapping and refined tolerances that ensure low fuel consumption, high levels of torque and smooth engine performance.

Ultramatic® transmission

Equipped with High, Low, Reverse, Neutral and Park modes, Yamaha's industry-leading Ultramatic® automatic transmission is one of the most durable and efficient CVT systems. Its instant-reaction gearing is designed to tackle the toughest terrain, and the natural feel of the all-wheel engine braking gives you added confidence and control on downhill runs.

On-Command® drive system

The intelligent On-Command® drive system features a convenient push-button control that allows you to switch seamlessly and instantaneously from 2WD to 4WD and back. By pressing a button on the right-side handlebar you can select 2WD, 4WD or 4WD with Diff Lock to optimise the Grizzly's performance in changing terrain and weather conditions.

Independent suspension, disc brakes

The Grizzly 700 EPS XT-R’s independent suspension system uses nitrogen gas shocks that are adjustable for spring preload, allowing the rider to run various settings to suit differing loads. This is also the only model in its class featuring four wheel hydraulic disc brakes, for outstanding braking performance with plenty of feel.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

For added comfort and reduced physical effort the Grizzly 700 EPS XT-R models are equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS) that has been designed to offer the best balance of rider assist and positive feedback. By maintaining light steering and precise handling, this system enhances rider comfort, confidence and control.

Carrying capacity and winch

The Grizzly 700 EPS XT-R comes with one of the highest standard specifications in its category and features a front-mounted WARN VRX 25 winch that has the power to haul you out of the stickiest situation. With a carrying capacity of 140 kg and able to tow 600 kg, this class-leading leisure ATV is the ideal partner for hunting, fishing and camping adventures.

Digital instrumentation, storage compartments

The Grizzly 700 EPS XT-R’s multi-function digital instruments feature a fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, clock, 4WD/Diff Lock status, transmission gear selector and EPS warning light. Three separate storage compartments are provided, offering plenty of secure space for tools or personal belongings.
