Yamaha's Ultramatic® system offers unparalleled off road capability, backed by the industry's only 10-year belt warranty. The CVT system features a centrifugal clutch designed to handle the powerful 999cc engine, coupled with a constant-tension belt system that tackles high-rev obstacles without belt damage. When extra torque is needed, the low gear is ideal for challenging conditions, ensuring less gear switching and more enjoyable rides on any terrain.

Three drive modes, one ultra-versatile machine

Yamaha's Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) works seamlessly with the Ultramatic® transmission and On-Command systems, providing perfect power delivery in any situation through its three-position D-Mode control, offering versatility for various riding styles and terrains. Choose Sports Mode for wide spaces and spirited driving, Trail Mode for a fun, relaxed ride, or Crawl Mode for slow-speed technical tasks like rock crawling.

On-Command® system - Turf Mode

In addition to the 2WD/4WD/diff-lock modes the On-Command system also has Turf Mode. Turf mode unlocks the rear differential, offering a tighter turning radius and reduced turf damage.

FOX® 2.0 fully adjustable suspension

The Wolverine® RMAX™2 1000 Sport includes dual spring piggyback FOX® 2.0 shocks with adjustable high- and low-speed compression and pre-load adjustment. This suspension delivers a sporty feel with high-speed bottoming resistance, without compromising on low-speed comfort and compliance.

EPS assist

The enhanced Electric Power Steering system offers three adjustable modes: high, standard, and low, ensuring precise steering input, confidence and control across all terrains. In 4WD/front diff-lock mode, it provides maximum steering assistance for the most demanding conditions.
