MK II 686cc SOHC engine

The hard-working Kodiak 700 EPS SE features a powerful large capacity engine that delivers class-leading torque and power. Featuring the 2nd generation MK II 686 engine 4-valve cylinder head, with EFI Throttle body, fine-tuned ECU mapping, refined tolerances and other updates results in lower fuel consumption, increased torque – and smoother engine performance.

Ultramatic® transmission

Equipped with High, Low, Reverse, Neutral and Park modes, Yamaha's industry-leading Ultramatic® automatic transmission is one of the ATV world’s most durable and efficient CVT systems. The utility-oriented gearing produces excellent low-speed pulling power and very natural-feeling, all-wheel engine braking, giving added confidence and control on downhill runs.

On-Command® 2WD/4WD/Diff-lock

The Kodiak 700 EPS SE models are fitted with an easy to operate On-Command® system with 2WD/4WD and 4WD with Diff-lock for full control for quick and effective switching between 2WD and 4WD, or even full Diff-lock allowing you to choose the right option to suit the terrain and surface conditions.

Independent suspension and front disc brakes

The Kodiak 700 EPS SE's compact independent double wishbone A-arms and long-travel KYB shocks give high levels of comfort, together with good manoeuvrability and can handle the most extreme terrain. For durable and reliable braking the Kodiak 700 EPS SE is fitted with front disc brakes and a sealed wet rear brake.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

For added comfort and reduced physical effort the Kodiak 700 EPS SE model is equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS) that has been designed to offer the best balance of rider assist and positive feedback. By maintaining light steering and precise handling, this system enhances rider comfort, confidence and control.

Comprehensive instrumentation

The Kodiak 700 EPS SE features a digital meter with a fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, clock, 4WD status, gear selector and EPS warning light.

Carrying capacity and winch

Durable front and rear racks give a high carrying capacity of 140 kg, and the Kodiak 700 EPS SE can tow 600 kg, making it a strong work companion in the farm, factory or forest. The front-mounted WARN VRX 25 winch is standard for Europe, while EPS models come with a two-inch receiver hitch, making this the ultimate compact utility vehicle.

SE Special Edition models

The Special Edition model is aimed at professional and leisure riders who demand the ultimate specification. The SE upgrade features a two-tone painted body with exclusive graphics and satin black cast aluminium wheels.
